The KUBA mission is to provide leadership, foster trade and commerce and interface actively with the local government in efforts to promote Uptown Kingston as a viable place to visit, work and live. The Kingston Uptown Business Association (KUBA), is a wholly voluntary, not-for-profit organization that works hard to make a difference in the Uptown community.
Your support of KUBA is critical.
This community celebration routinely provides horsedrawn wagon rides, live music, lighting of the Uptown tree, and a visit from Santa Claus himself.
KUBA is leading numerous programs to make the physical environment increasingly pleasing and conducive to recreation, business and tourism.
KUBA supports the Uptown Jazz Festival, O+ Festival, Snowflake Festival & Parade, New Year's Eve Ball Drop, Kingston Farmers' Market, Clean Sweep Event, and more!
The momentum is shifting in historic Uptown Kingston. We are entering a time of renewed interest. The unique dining options combined with antiques, art, entertainment and fashion have set the stage for increased traffic. As a business community we need to seize the moment and capture the hearts of locals and tourists alike.
"Being a KUBA member helps give me - and others - a voice in making our community work better."
“Small businesses like ours can really affect change when we come together on common issues. KUBA helps create that place for us.”
"Thank you KUBA for your support and all the community connections you supply. You have been a big help to me over the years."
“Joining KUBA has not only allowed us to take a more active role in our community, it has also helped us grow our client base by revealing networking opportunities.”
“..KUBA is a vital association of business, arts and cultural people in Uptown. Information sharing, group vision and community building are engaging participation in close working referrals and great initiatives. KUBA is cool!”
