***Play For Your Freedom - Participant and Volunteer Opportunities to Benefit Local Veterans***

KUBA is proud to be a sponsor for this year's Play For Your Freedom (PFYF) Football Classic at Dietz Stadium. PFYF was created to raise awareness for the men and women who have served our country and suffer from wounds both seen and unseen. Their mission is to work with Veterans face to face and use exercise, along with peer-to-peer support, to help them during their recovery process. This annual event raises money that goes towards PFYF's Wellness Workshop programming.

PFYF uses 100% of the local dollars raised to help hospitalized Veterans locally.

We have an opportunity to help even more and we're asking for your participation.

September 25th
Wellness Workshop #43 - Dietz Stadium - Kingston NY
10am - 1pm

PFYF will be hosting veterans and their families from the community in a fitness and fellowship workshop. If you are a veteran, have a veteran in your family or circle of friends, they are encouraged and welcomed to participate - free of charge.

The opening ceremony will take place at around 10:00-10:15 am. After that, attendees will begin breaking down into group activities based on physical abilities.

Here's where we need volunteers:

After the activity breakdown:

- playing in the upright football game
- assisting in the adaptive football game
- passing out cold waters and checking in on the Veterans, this usually starts conversations with people who are cheering from the sidelines.
- serving lunch to the Veterans around 11:30/12 so they will need help with setting up the meal, serving the Vets and clean up, etc.

Volunteers should arrive between 9:30 and 9:45 to set up.
