Kingston Uptown Business Association
The Kingston Uptown Business Association (KUBA) mission is to provide leadership, foster trade and commerce and interface actively with the local government in efforts to promote Uptown Kingston as a viable place to visit, work and live. KUBA is a wholly voluntary, not-for-profit organization that works hard to make a difference in the Uptown community.
By joining KUBA, you become part of a vital organization of volunteers who work hard to make a difference in the Uptown community.
KUBA’s goal is to act as the united voice of Uptown Kingston. KUBA is the organization people use as a resource for information regarding local Uptown businesses, events, & happenings. From major projects such as parking improvements to environmental issues that also effect business such as rail versus trail, KUBA offers a neutral setting for discussion. Funds raised through KUBA support many events that continue to build interest in the Uptown area such as the O+ Festival, the Uptown Jazz Festival, and the Snowflake Festival, as well as working in tandem with the Kingston Farmers’ Market. In addition to creating & distributing brochures and shopping guides, KUBA maintains the Exit 19 information kiosk at the Thruway. KUBA also maintains a website and is very active in social media.
All of this translates into more exposure for your business both online as well as print. KUBA provides numerous networking opportunities throughout the year, and meets regularly on the first Wednesday of each month.
